Our frequently asked questions page lists the most comment questions we get asked about the repairs we offer. Standard repairs are generally completed the same day (3-4 Hours) subject to parts being in stock. Ex stock parts (those which needs to be ordered), please allow an additional 3 days. If we have arranged for parts to be ordered before the device visiting our workshop facilities these devices will then repaired within our standard repair timeframe.
We accept all major debit and credit cards excl. American Express. Payments are made on the collection of your device(s), minus any monies already paid for disposits on parts ordered etc. We also accept BACs payments and card payments over the phone should your device need to be collected by a 3rd party. Corporate and educational organisations can set up credit accounts. Please contact us for more information.
Our standard Warranty on workshop repairs is 90-days for labour, parts we supply also are covered by a 90-day warranty. Those which are covered by a longer 6 or 12-month are covered for parts-only and any associated labour costs will still apply after the initial 90-days.
We request that only your device is brought to us for repair unless we ask for any accessories. - This includes cases. Your charger or sim cards may be needed to test your device during or after any repairs or for testing purposes. We will contact you and discuss this and obtain a suitable time for yourself and our technicians.
While no standard repair should sustain a loss of data on your device. We request that all devices are backed up fully before you visit our store. HAD-TECH. will take no responsibility for the loss of data should this occur during the repair to your device. Should there be a situation where this may be the case to repair your device, we will contact you before attempting a repair to discuss this with you.
Your contact information is covered under GDPR and is used purely for communication between HAD-TECH. staff and yourself in regards to upcoming, current or past repairs. Your information is never knowingly shared with any 3rd parties and should you wish for this data to be removed once a repair is complete please let us know. Data on devices are secured by your password/pin. We will only ask for this information should it be paramount to the repair of your device for testing purposes. No data will be copied or removed from your device unless this is agreed with yourself before.
We charge a £10 inspection fee on all devices. This is to cover admin and technician costs associated with the inspection. Should your device be deemed unrepairable or you choose not to proceed with the repair, we will provide you with a voucher of the value to use on any future repair with us. We also maybe waver this fee in certain circumstances. For more information please contact the team.
We use genuine parts on all devices where possible. If we are unable to obtain genuine original parts due to manufacturer restrictions or supply shortages. We use OEM parts from the same factories. These are the same high standard as genuine parts.
Accessories or Refurbished Devices purchased through our website are dispatched the next working day via one of our selected courier partners and will require a signature upon delivery. Generally refurbished devices will be dispatched via UPS. If you are not in at the time of delivery UPS will leave instructions on how to obtain your package or arrange re-delivery.
New items can be returned unopened in their original packaged condition within 14-days of purchase for a full refund. Refurbished devices can be returned within 14-days as long as the device is in the same condition as it was dispatched with any accessories.
